Although it seemed highly improbable just a few years ago, Marvel vs. Capcom is back in action with the classics that had remained unavailable for at least a decade.
Capcom themselves recently sent out an official survey for the newly-launched Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection and offering up wallpapers for fans and players who give their opinions.
There’s a bunch of the obvious questions you’d expect from a game survey like where you bought the collection (or if you’re waiting for the physical version), where you heard about the games (you can put EventHubs in the box), and what you like / dislike about the package.
They also ask about buying other games like Street Fighter entries or the likes of Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Ace Attorney, Dead Rising and more though Devil May Cry is an interesting exclusion there.
And funnily enough, hidden joke character Norimaro being playable is a listed reason you can pick for why you bought the collection
If you haven’t purchased the game yet, they offer a question for the reasons why with a bunch of different options like the featured titles not being new plus how likely you are to pick it up.
Critical response to the MvC collection has shown mostly glowing reviews so far, but players have been reporting online connectivity issues since release last week, which Capcom is currently looking to fix.
There’s also been a growing meme of players claiming they’re refunding the game on PC after getting stomped by Evo champ Justin Wong though most of those are just clear jokes.
Unfortunately, no questions or prompts are included about any potential future Marvel vs. Capcom projects or collaborations though the Capcom developers have shared their interest in making a new MvC entry.
We’re conducting a survey for #MvCFightingCollection.
All participants will receive a special digital wallpaper as a token of our appreciation. We’ll also be running a Product Evaluation Survey for the collection in December 2024.

A physical release of the collection is coming in November to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch including an exclusive Marvel vs. Capcom comic for pre-ordering while an Xbox port is coming after all sometime in 2025.
Mircosoft’s console will be receiving the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 as well next year alongside the other platforms.
Upon completing the survey, you’ll be offered a range of wallpapers to pick from featuring a clean version of the key cover artwork.
It would have been nice if they had some other choices made up from the franchise’s iconic pool of art to pull from, but this one is still nice to have in a full resolution.
They have 1080p and 1440p options for PC though unfortunately no 4K version is included. There is also wallpapers tailored for Android and iOS phones too.
You can find the survey on Capcom’s website to give them your feedback on the MvC collection.
