Capcom’s been doing pretty well for itself over the past few years with a number of big titles being received and performing strongly, and it looks like we’re about to learn a bit more about what they’ve currently got cooking up.
The company just announced their Capcom Highlights showcase that’ll take place over two days to apparently cover what’s going on with their upcoming and current titles.
The first broadcast is scheduled to take place this Thursday, March 7, focusing on the upcoming releases Kunitsu-Game: Path of the Goddess and Dragon’s Dogma 2 followed by the second set for next Monday, March 11, for Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Now and Monster Hunter Stories.
Each showcase will go live at 3 p.m. PST on their respective days and last around 15–20 minutes each.
They obviously don’t specify what exactly is going to be shown at this event beyond sharing the latest information and updates about their games as well as the current state of Capcom.
Considering they didn’t have anything to show just over a week ago at Capcom Cup X, we doubt that they’re planning to unveil Akuma here or something else all that major judging by previous Capcom Showcase and Capcom Spotlight events, but there’s certainly still a decent chance they’ll have new collaborations or other small updates — and if we’re really lucky maybe a look at some new costumes.
The “worst case” scenario for SF6 fans is they just recap Capcom Cup and Ed plus talk about the upcoming Capcom Pro Tour 2024 season.
We’ll know in just under a week what it is they have to show for us.
These broadcasts will be featured on the Capcom USA YouTube and Twitch channels, and you’ll be able to watch along with us here when the time is right.
More information can be found on the official Capcom Highlights website.
