We knew it was coming, but didn’t know when and where Capcom Cup X would be going down until the news broke Friday afternoon.
Capcom shared the information via a post on X, revealing that the big Street Fighter 6 dance will be returning to Los Angeles in February of 2024. Similar to the 2023 event, it will span more than one weekend.
Capcom Cup always kicks off with a bang as the final spot in the event is determined by a Last Chance Qualifier open bracket tournament.
Any and all who were not able to qualify for Capcom Cup have one last shot by winning, but those hoping to try will apparently need to do so a week before the actual Capcom Cup kicks off.
The Last Chance Qualifier will itself be a three day event held the weekend of February 16-18. Capcom Cup proper will then kick off on Wednesday, February 21 and run through Sunday, February 25.
Details beyond are still limited, but it seems the event will span 10 days when all is said and done. You can see the full graphic with all the CapCup X information on it by clicking the thumbnail here:

We still await a specific venue to be named within Hollywood, but are already feeling the excitement build as we grow closer to biggest Street Fighter tournament (as far as payouts go) to date. The winner of Capcom Cup X will take home a $1,000,000 prize, a whopping $880,000 more than the winner of the previous year.
