VALLEJO, Calif. (TCN) — After undergoing surgery for a self-inflicted stab wound, a 63-year-old man allegedly admitted to killing his mother.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, on the morning of Nov. 16, officers responded to a possible stabbing on Sereno Drive and learned a man and woman had been transported to a hospital in critical condition. Police allege Frank McMillan stabbed his wife at least once and then stabbed himself.
McMillan and his wife reportedly underwent surgery and will likely survive the injuries.
According to police, after his surgery, McMillan “spontaneously confessed to killing his biological mother” at a home on Campbell Avenue before he allegedly stabbed his wife and himself.
Officers responded to the residence on Campbell Avenue, forced entry, and found McMillan’s mother deceased.
Police arrested McMillan on charges of attempted murder and murder. He will be booked into the Solano County Jail following medical clearance.
