With speculations earlier on whether the events will be holding or not, the swaggerlicious Governor of Cross River State has made known to the general public that the biggest African Street party will be holding on 28th and 29th December, 2015.
Gov. Ayade who said it on one of his speech as the Commissioner of Culture and Tourism that the people ask for the event, and that the people also ask for the events activities not to be holding on Sundays since the state is a Christian state. This also was discussed by CAN members in the state as they said Sunday is meant to worship God and that the closing of the roads for the carnival makes people to miss out their church activities which is contrary to will of God.
