Calabar agog as Patrick Effiom returns home after #TheVoice contest

The Voice top finalist, Patrick Effiom may not have won the competition but sure stole the show back home. After the last eviction show last .. which saw A’rese winning the much coveted trophy, on being tipped that the Cross River born The Voice star was returning home briefly, the entire Calabar went agog taking their celebration to Margaret Ekpo International Airport where they received Effiom.

The 30 year old songster was not given one chance to himself as he was hosted all round by fanatics back home that the show built for him back home while members of Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN) took the lead.

From the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Effiom was treated to Hit FM where he held the air spell bound in a radio interactive show.

As if that was not enough, as more entourage added in to the convoy, top eight finalist out of hundreds was treated to the first Nigerian presidential lodge and later to Cross River Broadcasting Cooperation where he was hosted on another show.

Elated about the stampede the songster caused, the General Manager of Cross River Broadcasting Corporation (CRBC), Dr. Theresa Essien declared a two weeks exclusive broadcast around the now turn supper star to happen continuously both on radio and television in star studded manner.

One of the revelers on Patrick Effiom’s resilience on TheVoice to tope eight finalist victory, Charles Simeon, who runs SengeMenge a talent and event management company said it was a rare feat for Patrick Effiom to have lasted that long in an event that ousted of more than hundred talented singers.

He added that he and his colleagues are doing all in their power to see that Effiom continues to be in limelight.
