The Member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Hon Peter Odey has urged the newly confirmed Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service to bring his expertise to the revenue service of State.
Hon Odey has described the appointment of Dr. Ukam Edordi as timely and very deserving.
He said the appointment of Dr. Edordi was a good one and urged him to do the State proud by ensuring excellence in his new endeavor.
He further described Dr. Edordi as a man with a high track record. Saying he was proud that he was a Cross Riverian who had so much expertise in financial economy and money.
He further opined that Cross River is experiencing hard times and that as a financial expert, Dr. Edordi 's expertise is needed in salvaging the State from further economy crunch.
Hon Odey called on Dr. Edordi to boost the revenue of State saying Cross River State needs more internal generated revenue in order to meet up with the task of bringing the true dividend of democracy to the People of the State.
Hon Odey wishes the new Internal Revenue Service Chairman, Dr. Ukam Edordi continued good health and a successful reign as Chairman of the revenue body.
