The Deputy Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Joseph Bassey has eulogized the new Chairman of the Cross River Internal Revenue Service as a man of enviable track records.
The Deputy Speaker who commended Dr. Edordi during his appearance to the State House of Assembly as a man with an intimidating Curriculum Vitae who has taken time to build a career and a name for himself.
Rt. Hon Bassey said he was happy with the choice of Dr. Edordi as Chairman of the Revenue body, saying he was the right man for the job who had distinguished himself in different positions and capacities in the private and public sectors as a man to to emulate with his rich and enviable track records over the years which speaks volume for him.
He further said with his expertise in financial issues he had no doubt in his heart that the Dr. Edordi will bring his experience to play in rescuing the State from the economic crunch that had hit the State.
He also urged Dr. Edordi to focus more on revenue generation for the State and also in boosting the economy of the said for the benefit of all and sundry.
Rt. Hon Joseph Bassey wishes Dr. Ukam Edordi continued good health on his reign as Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service.
