Job Description
- KWV a renowned South African brand and industry leader in the production of world-class wines, and other spirits has a permanent vacancy for a Business Development Representative based in Nelspruit-Mpumalanga.
- Purpose: To ensure exposure, increased sales and achievement of targets by representing the company and its brands, by visiting On-consumption outlets (clubs, bars, etc.) and Liquor outlets as per a contracted call cycle and in the process grow the KWV customer base within a specific geographical area.
Job Summary:
- Develop and manage sound customer relationships
- Educate consumers regarding KWV brands
- Drive distribution i.e. availability
- Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
- Manage sales administration requirements i.e. prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
- Visit customers as per a fix contracted call cycle
- Implementation of the KWV way of selling
- Negotiate displays and pricing
- Ensure the implementation of the Sales Drivers
- Implement promotions and Point of sale/merchandising in store
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Matric/Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- At least 2 years relevant experience in FMCG
- Experience in the Liquor industry will be advantageous
- Computer literate on an advanced level
- Must have a valid driver’s license without endorsements and have own vehicle
- Availability for frequent business travel and possible overnight stay
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong sales skills and experience
- Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
- Must have a passion for interacting with customers and a passion for customer service
- Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven
- Must be a South African citizen
