Business Development Executive
Job Purpose:
- As the Business Development Executive, the appointed individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunity among target market towards contributing to the revenue of the Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth and Expansion:
- Attract new clients/deals by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Identify and research opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
- Work with the Marketing department to create content for target audience.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of performance information which will be used in order to further make decisions, improve business generation and identify potential issues which may arise, enabling feedback to examination supply chain stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Drive initiatives to promptly identify business going through certain triggers
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
- Set up exploratory and discovery meetings with target audience
- Generate new business through cross/upselling, cold calls, Referrals and other means of prospecting.
Others:
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
- Ensure clients’ needs are met with understanding and respect.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Comply with business needs on a day to day basis.
Professional Requirements
- Graduate with a degree in any discipline
- At least 5-7 years’ experience as a business development executive in a B2B service environment.
- Must be outgoing and social with proven evidence of high network of individuals
- Able to open door of opportunities anywhere.
- Must be flexible in work hours and days.
- Well-connected in the business and HR space
- Self-drive with track record of great achievement.
