It’s the start of December and the true tipping point of the holiday season where it looks like we’re about to be gifted more than just a balance update for Street Fighter 6.
Capcom just revealed the Buckler Holiday Brawl in SF6 as the newest Fighting Pass about to hit the game.
Obviously, the new battle pass is themed around Christmas and the holidays featuring rewards with Luke, Marisa and Juri dressed up like Santa Claus while Dee Jay gets to be a reindeer.
While the premium items do include photo frames, wallpapers, titles, challenger screen effects and stickers all themed around the season, not all of them follow this pattern.
Interestingly, the avatar gear being handed out is actually coming straight from the playable cast’s wardrobes with Dee Jay’s headphones, Luke’s gloves, Marisa’s sunglasses, Juri’s phone and JP’s cane.
Moreover, the classic game being given out to premium pass holders is 1942, and there’s more Street Fighter 5 music being added with the Holly Jolly Beatdown and Frosty Boulevard tracks coming for the festivities.
The new Fighting Pass will presumably be priced the same as the rest at 250 Fighter Coins or $5 USD, and you can earn your money back by completing all 30 levels before the countdown expires.
While you may have thought the Battle Hub would receive a winter makeover too, that won’t be the case since SiRN M. Bison is about to invade the mode as a new super boss available in the lobbies like we saw with Akuma before.
This Fighting Pass, the balance update and SiRN Bison are all coming in just a few hours when SF6’s next big patch goes live on December 2 to all.
