Manchester United’s struggles in the Premier League continued as they suffered another disappointing defeat, this time at the hands of Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils failed to register a single goal at Old Trafford, marking their seventh home loss of the season.
United’s lack of attacking firepower has been a growing concern, with Rasmus Højlund often left isolated up front.

Marcus Rashford’s recent loan move to Aston Villa has only added to their issues in the final third.
With Rashford gone, Ruben Amorim opted to start without a recognized centre-forward, hoping his side could compensate through creativity in midfield.
However, the absence of a natural goal scorer was painfully evident as United struggled to carve out meaningful opportunities.
Alejandro Garnacho’s future also remains uncertain, with reports suggesting he is being monitored by top European clubs.
Losing another key attacker would further complicate United’s attempt to salvage their season.
New signing Patrick Dorgu was unveiled before kick-off, but his arrival does little to solve the club’s attacking crisis.
Ayden Heaven, another new defensive recruit, also made his first appearance on the bench, but the club’s problems lie elsewhere.
Despite these reinforcements, United’s inability to score goals remains their most pressing concern.
Speaking after the match, captain Bruno Fernandes was blunt in his assessment of United’s ongoing struggles.

“We lacked a little bit of aggression to get into the final third and [lacked] something to score goals,” Fernandes admitted.
“With the players we have in front, we need to have more goals and create more, take players on and get chances from that.”
He went on to emphasize that the entire squad is aware of the issue, adding, “Everyone is aware we are short of goals.”
Amorim’s decision to play without a centre-forward ultimately backfired, as Jean-Philippe Mateta’s brace sealed United’s fate.
As United continue to struggle in front of goal, Fernandes’ comments highlight the urgent need for attacking reinforcements.
