Brittany Mahomes is on the mend after a recent injury. The ex-soccer player, who’s a mom to Sterling, 3, and Patrick “Bronze,” 15 months, gave her followers a health update on March 6.
She had a word of caution for those who’ve given birth. “Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously,” she wrote on an Instagram Stories selfie. She signed off with, “From: A girl with a fractured back.”
Pelvic floor complications can happen after childbirth. The University of Utah Health says these can show up as lower back pain, loss of bladder control, and other symptoms.
Brittany, who’s 28, didn’t spill the beans on what caused her back injury. But she did share some good news about her recovery. She posted a sweet pic of her daughter Sterling holding Patrick’s hand. “But vacaying with my homies will maybe make it better?” she wrote.
When she’s not busy with her kids, Brittany is often seen at her husband’s Kansas City Chiefs games. She’s been a regular there over the years. Last season, she even had some quality time with Taylor Swift. They cheered on their partners together on the field.
