Brittany Mahomes, she’s always been the cheer captain for Patrick Mahomes. You know, the former pro soccer player who can’t help but gush about her quarterback hubby. Especially after the Kansas City Chiefs snagged the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11.
“This season? It was something else,” she penned on Instagram a couple of days later. She talked about Patrick, how he never stopped believing in his team. The ups, the downs, the doubters – none of it phased him.
“He didn’t doubt his team, not once,” she wrote. “A true leader. A team player.” She talked about how he kept asking himself how he could do better, lead his team to the Super Bowl.
She went on, “I’ve seen so much behind the scenes. I’m in awe of you, as a person and a football player.” She told him he deserved this. She told him she loved him. She told him she was proud of him, always and forever.
Brittany’s post was heartwarming, to say the least. She and Patrick have two kids – Sterling, who’s 2, and Bronze, just 14 months. She posted some adorable snaps of their family, celebrating on-field after their win against the San Francisco 49ers.
