Brian Cox recounts the Mishima Saga leading up to the events of Tekken 8

Bandai Namco has released a video spanning for five minutes that outlines the Tekken story story so far. In particular, the video focuses on how Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, and Jin Kazama have all interacted with one another throughout the games.

Over the video, Brian Cox can be seen and heard as he acts as the narrator for the video. Brian Cox is known for being a voice actor behind important characters in Killzone, Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Manhunt, and Syndicate.

As expected, Brian Cox is quick to point out how the Mishima family has a tendency to throw one another off cliffs. This all began with Heihachi throwing his son Kazuya off a cliff when Kazuya was just five-years-old as Heihachi suspected that he had the Devil Gene.

Kazuya would get his revenge at the conclusion of the first Tekken where Kazuya defeated Heihachi in the King of the Iron Fist Tournament. However, Heihachi would return, defeat Kazuya, and then throw him into a volcano.

After Kazuya’s disappearance following the events of Tekken 2, Jun would bear his son, Jin Kazama. Years after Kazuya disappeared, Jun would also disappear due to mysterious circumstances surrounding Ogre.

Due to this, Jin would go to Heihachi for training. Though Jin was eventually able to defeat Ogre thanks to this training, Jin was ultimately betrayed by Heihachi, transforming Jin into Devil Jin via the Devil Gene.

Finally, in Tekken 7, Kazuya would succeed in his attempt at killing Heihachi. Now, Tekken 8’s story begins with Jin trying to stop Kazuya from threatening the entire world.
