It's now official: America's Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has recorded resounding victory at the polls today as he has been elected President of the United States of America.
His closest contender, Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, has called to concede defeat. This election has been historic. For Trump it was 'tough'.
President-elect Trump has delivered his victory speech. He called for unity. Congratulations Mr Trump!
