BREAKING: Raphael Varane will be out for the next few weeks with a muscle injury sustained during the game against Chelsea last week.

This is as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano on his X account.

The French World Cup winner has had his fair share of injury issues this campaign and Chelsea’s astonishing loss was the latest.

He started struggling with a muscle injury in the first half and had to come off after half time.

Ironically, his replacement for the second half in Jonny Evans also couldn’t last an entire half and he too came off injured in the 66th minute.

The Northern Irish defender will also miss some time on the sidelines and he too will miss the Bournemouth with a shorter term muscle injury.
