Yakurr, Cross River-born Chief Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla, the SA on Prosecution to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been confirmed as the Honourable Commissioner (Non-Executive) representing south-south geopolitical zone in the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) board.
It will be recalled that on 2 August the President’s media aide, Femi Adesina, had forwarded names of nominees for confirmation of appointment into the NCC board.
The appointment is in accordance with Section 8(1) of the Nigerian Communications Commission Act 2003.
