A gas explosion this morning rocks the CBN-Calabar building located at the 11-11 Junction, Calabar Road, leaving many injured including security personels and other workers.
News reaching us this afternoon recorded that 18 persons are dead due to the explosion and fire Outbreak inside the main building. While many are being rushed to the nearby UCTH, Moore Road.
According to Calabar Reporters, CBN spokesman, Mr. Isaac Okorafor said:
That two persons were feared death from the incident, adding that the resultant fire has been successfully put out.
Apart from the death toll, or the feelings that’ll be gutting the family of the demise workers, how are they going to pay salaries if the currency room is also affected? Anyways, no news on that yet. But we are still on ground to update you on the matter, stay tuned.
