At about 12.00am this morning, there was a report of a tanker driver carrying inflammable diesel which claimed Properties of dwellers in idimu pipline , Ejigbo of Lagos .
According to report gathered by NEGROIDHAVEN, the incident happened this morning at about few minutes past midnight.
Eye witness told NEGROIDHAVEN that the said driver identified as an “Aboki”, from the Northern part of Nigeria was allegedly driving the diesel – carrying lorry when he missed his balance in an attempt to transverse a bend but missed a wheel. The driver consciously aware of the impending danger which was about to claim his life, did jump out of the said tanker and watched as it collapsed near a gutter.
Before he could say “Jack “, the tanker had consequently engulfed into flames destroying Properties and major cosmetic shops and stores of different individuals.
However, no lives were recorded to be lost in the process as the inhabitants took to their heels abandoning any impediment that could deter their escape.
We cannot but wonder why recent happenings across the city of Lagos have in most cases being about one explosion or the other.
However, we thank the Heavens that as at the time of this report, no life was claimed in the explosion.
