Following a series of issues between a section of commercial drivers and the Cross River State Ministry of Transportation and in line with the Peoples First Agenda, the Cross River State government has withdrawn the services of all agents and taskforce set in place to enforce traffic rules in the state.
This was revealed in a circular signed by the Special Assistant to the Commissioner on Transportation, Mr. JD Agba who informed that the withdrawal takes immediate effect and it applies to all routes within the state.
The statement also called for the arrest of anyone who parades themselves as agents or representatives of the ministry’s enforcement team.
