Boxing legend Mike Tyson leaves passenger on flight bloodied after repeatedly punching him

An overly-excited Mike Tyson fan got a taste of what the legendary boxer can do if you annoy him.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion, 55, was preparing to fly from San Francisco to Florida when a man sitting behind him appeared to continue harassing Tyson, which led to an apparent assault.

Iron Mike was videoed repeatedly punching the passenger, leaving him battered and bloodied.

A friend of the man who was assaulted and also on the flight, told TMZ that Tyson actually took a selfie with him and originally showed patience with his pal.

Eventually, though, Tyson seemed to grow frustrated and told him to ‘chill’. 

When the fan did not heed the advice, the witness said Tyson started to throw several punches in his direction.

The witness says after the incident, Tyson walked off the plane just seconds later.

TMZ say the man who was punched received medical attention and then went to the police, though there has been no word of on any charges brought forward against Tyson at this moment in time.


This isn’t the first problem Tyson has found problems in public. In March, a man challenged Tyson to a fight in a comedy club and pulled out a gun.

Tyson was once dubbed ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ at the height of his fame in the late 1980s and 1990s.

At 20 years old, he was the youngest-ever fighter to win a world heavyweight title and is the proud owner of a staggering 24 first round knockouts.

He retired from boxing in 2005 and these days keeps active with his podcast – ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson’ – but did return to the ring in 2020.
