Bournemouth are one of the best run clubs in the English Premier League.
The South Coast side have established themselves in the English top flight thanks to some savvy business decisions.
With an approach to buy talented youngsters and sell them on for a significant profit after a while, The Cherries have been able to provide themselves with a strong footing to compete in the EPL.
It’s a complete contrast to the way that Manchester United have been run over the years.
Thanks to their smart planning, Bournemouth have become an established presence and are rarely touted for relegation by pundits and fans.
One of Bournemouth’s most recent successes has been left-back Milos Kerkez.
Signed from AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands in 2023, Kerkez has proved a major hit and has earned a burgeoning reputation.
His profile has gone so large that he’s being linked with some of the biggest clubs in England.
Manchester United, in desperate need of reinforcements in that position, are one of those clubs.
The Red Devils are believed to be exploring a deal for the £40m rated defender.
Kerkez has also recently changed agents, sparking speculation that he’s preparing for a move.
With that in mind, it seems that Bournemouth have lined up a replacement already and it’s another wonderkid talent.
According to Argentine journalist Uriel Iugt, Bournemouth have signed Julio Soler for £15m from Lanus.
Iugt reports that the player is on his way to England and will sign a 4 year contract at Vitality Stadium.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano also confirmed the news shortly after Iugt reported on it.
So it looks like Bournemouth have a new left-back.
Which could potentially open to door for Manchester United to sign Milos Kerkez.
United are desperately short in that position and Kerkez would provide an English Premier League ready player who could go straight into the first team.
It will be interesting to see whether The Cherries plan to throw Julio Soler straight into the first team or send him out on loan first.
Soler is 19 years old, so just a couple of years younger than Kerkez, and may need to acclimatise to European football.
The youngster has only played in his native Argentina and Bournemouth would be only his second professional team after Lanus.
If Soler’s arrival accelerates the possibility for Milos Kerkez to move to Old Trafford, MUFC fans will be delighted.
As, we are sure, will Ruben Amorim.
EXCL: Julio Soler es nuevo jugador del #Bournemouth.
El club inglés adquire la totalidad de la ficha por una cifra cercana a los US$15M. #Lanús tenía solamente el 50% del pase. Se confirma una nueva exclusiva.
