Today we’re sharing some fighting game artwork from an artist named Etama, who has a knack for making Capcom characters we’ve seen countless times look new somehow.
Etama has a clear affinity for Darkstalker’s Morrigan Aensland, who pops up a few times in our selection, but also features Ryu, Akuma, Cammy, Sakura, Karin, and more.
The first drawing in our round up features the aforementioned Morrigan, appropriately dressed in boudoir fashion. As a succubus, Morrigan is forever intertwined with themes of sexuality and allure, and Etama captures it all brilliantly even without the use of color.
Final Fight’s Maki appears in our next image in a particularly cheeky pose (continuing those themes, it seems) followed then by a whole different version of Morrigan, this time in her more traditional attire and through a less refined lens. Perhaps this image is to be seen as in a dream as she calls us forth through the haze of desire?
Changing things up entirely yet again, the fourth image (again, of Morrigan) looks like she’s straight out of Skullgirls, which we have to admit she’d be a perfect guest character for.
Ryu makes a few sexy appearances too, being a hunky hulk in one and getting pushed up against a wall by Spider Gwen (another Marvel vs. Capcom when?) in another. Check out our selection and be sure to follow Etama on their X and social media pages for more like this.
