Manchester United are looking to have a busy summer as they aim to remodel their squad to rebuild the club under Ruben Amorim’s leadership.
This season has been the worst on record, with it being clear that Amorim needs to sign a reliable striker and goalkeeper this summer, to have any hope of improving next season.
The Red Devils do however, have a wealth of talent in their younger ranks, coming through the academy or having recently graduated to the reserve squad.
Players like Chido Obi, Harry Amass and Toby Collyer have all featured in the senior squad this season, whilst several others have gone out on loan to get more match experience.
It’s expected that the same will be the case for the coming summer, with some of the United youngsters on the fringe of graduating from the academy set for more competitive experience.

Jayce Fitzgerald centre of loan interest
Now, Sam C has reported that young midfielder Jayce Fitzgerald could be one of those going out on loan, with Borussia Dortmund after his signature.
It’s understood that Dortmund and several Dutch clubs have made contact with Untied for the midfielder who has recently returned from injury, getting back involved in full training.
The 17-year-old currently plays for United’s Under-18s, showing off his versatility playing in central midfield, whilst also being used in a more attacking position and to cover centre-back.
Fitzgerald has already made 43 appearances for the Under-18s across the last three seasons, grabbing six goals and four assists.
However, it’s not just at club level he’s making a name for himself, with the youngster also being called up to England’s Under-17s side in 2023.
It’s unknown as of yet how United feel about a potential loan, with Fitzgerald having sat on the bench as a back-up option for a handful of senior games already.
