The 20-year-old talent has caught the attention of Bologna, who are keen to bolster their squad with young, dynamic players. Reports from Il Secolo XIX via Samp News24 indicate that Bologna have initiated discussions with Inter Milan, Akinsanmiro’s parent club.
During his loan stint, Akinsanmiro has made 23 appearances and scored once for Sampdoria, showcasing his technical skill, versatility, and commanding physical presence. These qualities have also piqued the interest of foreign clubs, thoughInter appear intent on managing his development carefully.

The Nigerian midfielder’s rapid rise has been remarkable. After joining Inter, he excelled in their Primavera setup, earning first-team call-ups under Simone Inzaghi and making his Serie A debut in February 2024. He was also part of Inter’s Scudetto-winning squad that season.
Bologna’s interest aligns with their focus on nurturing emerging talent, as seen in their recent acquisition of Giovanni Fabbian from Inter. Akinsanmiro fits their mold as a young player with immense potential to make an impact in Serie A.
