• VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd operates white maize mills in Mokopane and Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, and Mashishing in Mpumalanga, as well as a wheat mill and bakery in Frankfort in the Free State.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• A Blending Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of blending equipment in a production facility. This includes setting up and operating the blending machinery, monitoring the blending process, and making adjustments to ensure product quality. The Operator must also comply with all safety regulations, keep accurate records, and maintain a clean work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Punctual and willing to work overtime
• Clean Criminal Record

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling, operating, and maintaining blending equipment efficiently.
• Ensuring proper raw material preparation.
• Verifying mixture specifications.
• Controlling product processing.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workspace.
• Design, test, and implement blending solutions for various production processes
• Develop and maintain processes and equipment related to blending operations
• Ensure that all operations meet safety and quality standards
• Analyze blending processes and suggest improvements
• Train personnel on blending operations
