In this position the Gas Blender is responsible for preparing, checking and confirming gas mixtures according to specifications whilst adhering to Air Liquide safety standards.
Prepare gas mixtures according to required specifications, efficiently and punctually following blending method indicated by Facility Managers
Check and confirm calculations for gas mixtures
Follow Air Liquide Quality Assurance procedures
Strictly adhere to all Air Liquide safety rules and regulations
Educational requirements
Education: Matric with Maths and Science plus CHEMOPS
Experience
1 year experience in a production plant
Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
Knowledge of Technical/Production environment
Knowledge of Gases or Gas properties
Able to do basic calculations
