Biden Authorizes NATO Bombing of Russia, Putin Plans Severe Response
In this video, Mark Sleboda, International Relations and Security Analyst and Jamarl Thomas discuss the implications of the Biden administration’s recent approval of long-range strikes into Russian territory.
Sleboda, who referred to the reckless escalation a deliberate provocation and a brazen disregard for Russia’s clearly stated red lines, explains that these strikes are not just a military tactic but a calculated political maneuver designed to entrench the United States deeper into the conflict, leaving Donald Trump’s upcoming administration trapped in a predicament.
This move by Biden, Sleboda notes, reflects the familiar hubris of the Western empire which has dismissed Russia’s legitimate security concerns and simultaneously pushed the world closer to a dangerous confrontation. He broke down the technical and operational details of the strikes, highlighting that the advanced US weapons used require heavy American involvement, from satellite targeting to software programming.
This confirms that the attacks were a joint US-Ukraine operation, which Sleboda argues is a clear violation of Russia’s sovereignty and an act of aggression that could escalate into a wider conflict. Putin has, on numerous occasions, warned that such actions cross a red line. However, Sleboda suggests Russia may respond indirectly by arming proxies such as Ansarallah (Houthis) in Yemen to strike US assets, similar to how the West has made use of their proxies in Ukraine. Watch:
Biden’s motivations, according to Sleboda, are rooted in spite and a desperate desire to cement his legacy – Biden’s decision to greenlight these strikes is not about achieving military objectives but about attempting to sabotage any future peace efforts under the upcoming Donald Trump Presidency. He mentions how even the Pentagon (typically supportive of escalation), has reportedly opposed these strikes and viewed them as strategically pointless with little impact on the battlefield.
It seems like the current administration is more interested in leaving office with the illusion of “doing everything possible,” regardless of the risks. This kind of imperial arrogance, Sleboda argued, has defined the West’s approach to Russia for years, ignoring Moscow’s repeated calls for security guarantees while continually encroaching on its borders.

The Liberty Beacon Project is now expanding at a near exponential rate, and for this we are grateful and excited! But we must also be practical. For 7 years we have not asked for any donations, and have built this project with our own funds as we grew. We are now experiencing ever increasing growing pains due to the large number of websites and projects we represent. So we have just installed donation buttons on our websites and ask that you consider this when you visit them. Nothing is too small. We thank you for all your support and your considerations … (TLB)
