Selena Gomez is all about Benny Blanco. The “Back to You” singer went public with the music producer in December. She’s been vocal about the positive impact he’s had on her life.
She spoke to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, on Feb. 23. She emphasized the importance of being with someone who respects you. “It’s just really important,” she said.
She also mentioned how comforting it is to lean on someone who gets her world. “It’s really nice,” she added.
But Benny’s influence on Selena goes beyond just understanding and respect. The 31-year-old singer feels more confident in her own skin because of him.
She spoke about the 35-year-old Benny, whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin. “I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel,” she confessed.
She’s been growing through this relationship. “It’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome,” she said.
The star of “Only Murders in the Building” is aware of the happiness that’s currently radiating through her. It’s especially evident in the music video for her new song “Love On.”
