Do you all remember the Barrister Joseph Agi and Governor Benedict Ayade case? The case has been recalled and will be heard on December this year.
According to reports by one Ifere Paul, the Supreme Court in Abuja held a sitting today concerning the matter between Joe Agi (SAN) and Ben Ayade. The court adopted all the briefs after hearing the adumbration of both parties.
In the report, the lawyer representing PDP tendered an apology to the court for the party to have fielded a candidate who falsified everything that contravene the free and fair filling of documents for the elections.
“The PDP has also indicated that it will further withdraw support for Governor Senator Ben Ayade.” Ifere says.
If the story is true then, there might be a problem come December 2016, whereby if the current government loses then power may shift hands.
Well, we know it’s not that easy, but a court case cannot be predicted. So we’re looking forward to day.
