May 11, 2024 BRONX, New York – Kashaan Parks, 39, was charged for the brutal rape of an elderly woman who was walking in the early morning hours when she was attacked by Parks, police say.
Parks was seen escorted by two female NYPD detectives out the 41 precinct to a waiting jail transport vehicle.
The brutal attack seen in a now viral video shows a man, who police believe is Parks, approach the victim from behind before using a belt to choke the woman unconscious then dragging her by the neck in between two cars to sexually assault the elderly woman.
Parks was hit with multiple charges for his alleged role in the heinous assault including Rape – 1st Degree, Assault – 2nd Degree, Strangulation – 2nd Degree, Sex Abuse – 1st Degree, Public Lewdness – 1st Degree, and Harassment – 1st Degree.
The investigation is ongoing as detectives work to locate more possible victims that may have unfortunately crossed paths with Mr. Parks in the past.
