Below Deck’s Ben Willoughby found himself in a bit of a pickle. His love affair with Camille Lamb, well, it just didn’t hold water.
Almost a year after the season 10 finale of the Bravo series, Ben’s finally ready to spill the beans. He’s sharing the real reason behind their split. “Hindsight’s a beautiful thing,” he told E! News exclusively. But, he also admitted, “it’s a pain in the a–.”
Looking back, he’s had a bit of an epiphany. It’s been almost two years, and he’s realized something. He was more into her than she was into him.
The cameras didn’t catch everything. Their relationship seemed sweet, endearing even. But when the filming stopped, it was all about her.
After the cameras were off, something happened. Camille did something that Ben just couldn’t overlook. The Lead Deckhand let it slip that she had betrayed him.
Ben shared a bit more about the incident. He’d been in Australia for a couple of weeks. Then, he decided to fly back because Camille was missing him. “She said she really wanted to be with me in Florida,” he recalled. So, he hopped on a plane to Florida.
But once he got there, he found out something. Camille hadn’t been faithful.
