Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! It’s said that if you say his name three times, he’ll be summoned.
As it turns out, it seems that Player First Games has opted to summon Beetlejuice as a playable fighter within MultiVersus.
Though we’ve been getting plenty of “Bruiser” class characters in MultiVersus, Beetlejuice has been labeled as an “Assassin” class fighter. This theoretically means that he should be particularly effective at eliminating stocks.
Based on what we see in the trailer, Beetlejuice seems strong in terms of his ability to KO opponents off the top. He seems to have a real knack for juggling opponents as well.
Along with Beetlejuice will be a plethora of new costumes. A number of characters will even be able to dress up like Beetlejuice.
The Joker getting Beetlejuice’s threads will make things a little confusing since the two characters do kind of look similar. Of course, it should be mentioned that Beetlejuice will also have a couple of alternate costumes available for purchase.
Beetlejuice is slated to be released on August 20, 2024. It’s important to note that it won’t be possible to unlock Beetlejuice through the Rifts mode like Agent Smith as the developers have stated that they won’t be locking characters behind that mode anymore due to fan feedback.
