It’s pretty surprising just how many cosplayers there are out in the world who really enjoy Street Fighter, but that’s probably a testament to the series’ iconic characters and strong designs.
Ayan is a talented Japanese cosplayer we haven’t featured before who’s been having fun showing off her excellent Outfit 3 from Street Fighter 6 for Chun-Li as well as the best (and one of the only) cosplay we’ve seen for Rival Schools / Street Fighter 5’s Akira Kazama.
One of Ayan’s New Year’s resolutions was to finish up her Chun-Li cosplay and get a photoshoot with it in a studio, and it looks like she’s already achieved that goal.
When you put her cosplay up side-by-side to Chun’s actual artwork, she seems to have perfectly nailed the costume down to the right comfy athletic shoes and loose bracelets.
Ayan’s top has all the right flowing pieces and more ornate parts, and she even got the detail that the inside pants side buttons is a different color than the gold exterior.

Ayan is also a big fan of Akira and her big return in the final season of SF5, which has become one of her most used cosplays over the past few years.
She’s pretty much able to perfectly capture both of Akira’s sweet and badass sides with her smile and posing, and that’s not exactly an easy feat.
Moreover, her costume is basically perfect too considering she made the riding gloves as well as the knee and leg pads on her biking pants.
