Beatrice Okene Akpala is indeed a woman of many parts. Beside her
ubiquitous, charismatic professional prowess in the media and
communication fields, Miss Akpala is a dovout Christian, who has
graciously continued to serve the Lord with great zest and
commitment. She is Focused, dedicated and
committed to the sacrificial service of God and a philanthropist
par excellence not only in her community but the society as a
whole.
Aside her official schedules as a Programme Officer in the Cross
River State owned Broadcasting outfit-CRBC, Miss Akpala is the
Chief Executive Officer of Trice Communications Limited, a
platform which affords her the opportunity to provide media
consultancy to many corporate organizations, government MDAs
and political office holders.
A proud Ukelle woman of high pedigree, Beatrice Akpala has held
several positions of responsibilities right from her days in the
University, including Vice President of National Association of
Cross River State Students, Unical Chapter (NACRISS), Senator,
Faculty of Arts Students Association, Director of Socials, National
Association of Yala Local Government Student (NAYLOGS),
Director of Publicity, IBB Project and Director of Welfare
(NAYLOGS) University of Calabar, among others.
A role model and trail blazer, Beatrice Akpala has garnered
several awards and recognitions, among which are the most
resourceful youth in Cross River State by Life Resources
Network; Most Outstanding Young Cross Riverian 2017, by Youth Alliance International, the most Resourceful and Sacrificial
Broadcaster of the year 2017 and 50 most outstanding young
future leaders to watch presented by Profiles and Biographies in
2017. Most Vibrant Broadcaster Of The Year – Conferred on her on the 27th Of July, 2018 by BMTV Nigeria Celebrity Awards, Award Of Excellence For Youths Empowerment by Singles Aflame Network For Her Sacrificial Service To Humanity Especially The Youths And Singles On The 19th Of May 2018, PUAH Award Of Distinction 2013 In recognition of her sterling qualities in leadership and Selfless Service To Humanity on the 15th Of June 2013, Honorary Award For Passion in Youth Building And Management Conferred on her on the 27th of May 2018 by REALHOPE Foundation, MERIT AWARD – Conferred on her by the Faculty Of Arts Students Association (FASA) Ubong David Led EXCO 2006/2007, MERIT AWARD – For Her Outstanding Contribution To The Development Of The Society Conferred on her by the National Association Of Nigerian Students Join Campus Committee (NANS JCC) Comrade Amb Efenji Helen Led EXCO 2018/2019, SDG- Smart Ambassador – Conferred on her by DICIDE Smarter Lives Diligent Care Creative Intelligence Development In Special Consultative Status With United Nations ECOSOC. Prof. Ben Ayade identified her as a great asset in the Media And Appointed her as his Special Assistant On Electronic Media in 2015. Her relentless catalogue of Successes and achievements in the last four years of Governor Ben Ayade Led Administration earned her a re-appointment as the Senior Special Assistant To The Governor On Communication And Advocacy.
Based on her disciplined disposition and passion for whatever she
does, Beatrice Akpala has continued to bring to bear her vast
wealth of experiences in her new assignment with an eye for
greater opportunities in the years ahead.
