With the numerous business establishments of the King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), is reputed to be next only to the state government as the highest employer of labour in Cross River State, Christ Shepherd Edet Archibong, Spokesman of the BCS, has said.
Archibong stated this on Wednesday during a press briefing to announce the 2020 Anniversary of The Coronation of The King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, held at the BCS World Headquarters in Calabar.
He said “This anniversary commemorates the coronation of the Kings of kings and lord of lords his holiness olumba olumba obu which took place on the 14th of April 2001. It is normally held on the 14th of April but was shifted this year to the 9th of August due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The Coronation was carried out by the Ancient of Days who manifested as Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to establish the Kingdom of God on earth which He named ‘Brotherhood of the Cross and Star’. The coronation signified the handing over of the Kingdom to the King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, to rule over and bring to perfection.”
Giving a background into the coronation, the BCS Spokesman said “It was prophesied in the Holy Bible that the God of heaven will establish his Kingdom on earth which will stand forever (Daniel 2:44) and that the establishment of this Kingdom will take place in the last days and God shall teach the people His ways, judge and reform them (Isaiah 2:2-4). It was further revealed to Prophet Isaiah that God will come as a man from Edom to perform this task in which He will punish the evil ones and redeem those who practice His words (Isaiah 63:1-4). Prophet Daniel also saw in a vision how thrones were cast down from heaven to the earth (as explained in KJV) and the Ancient of Days sat on one of the thrones on earth.”
He went further to say that “The Ancient of Days which manifested as Leader Olumba Olumba Obu was to come and establish the Kingdom of God on earth, teach the people the ways of God and hand over the Kingdom to the Son of Man. The Son of Man refers to Christ in His Second Advent. Our Lord Jesus Christ said ‘Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me’ (John 14:11). That means that when Leader Olumba Olumba Obu came to establish the Kingdom, Christ was in Him. That is why thrones were cast down, not one. The other throne was for Christ, the Son of Man, who would take His throne after being handed the Kingdom.”
Shepherd Archibong said over the years the BCS has put in place structures and institutions for disseminating the Kingdom message, “which are the teachings of the Ancient of Days to the dying world”, adding that for the BCS to create positive impact on the society, it has been establishing and expanding business enterprises covering tourism, education, print and broadcasting media, agriculture and confectionery.
Beyond these, he said the BCS has been at the forefront of ensuring and promoting interreligious harmony and peaceful co-existence among diverse race, cultures and civilizations.
“His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has come to rule in righteousness, peace and love. He has come to do away with racial, religious and gender bigotry. He has demonstrated that to all that come to him. Based on this, the BCS exists in peace and harmony with various religious organizations. For instance, the BCS has had a long lasting cordial relationship with the Muslim community in Cross River State. The Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, supports their projects, we hold joint seminars and they attend our functions. Three Sheikhs delivered a powerful speech during the grand finale of the celebration of the centenary of the Manifestation of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, in December 2018, in which they extolled the quality of the Holy Father. This attests to the peaceful disposition and exemplary leadership style of the King of kings and the Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.”, he concluded.
