Bayelsa United’s Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, has been warned by the Bayelsa State Government, the club’s owner, to “shape up or ship out.”
According to a statement by the club, Bosso has two games to improve his team’s performance or face dismissal.
Currently, Bayelsa United sits in the relegation zone of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), ranking 18th with 10 points from 10 matches.

The government, dissatisfied with the team’s poor results, believes the club’s standing doesn’t reflect their investment and has issued a strong warning to Bosso.
After a recent 1-1 draw with Enyimba, Bosso now faces a tough away match against second-placed Rivers United and a home game against Katsina United at Samson Siasia Stadium.
These two games will determine his future with the club. Dr. Daniel Igali, Commissioner for Sports, delivered the ultimatum to Bosso and his coaching staff on Tuesday.
