Battle Arena Melbourne is back in action and as always it’ll be taking place in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Notable players attending include Rohto|Tokido, DRX|LowHigh, RB|Bonchan, GG|Xian, DFM|John Takeuchi, KDF|Ulsan, DRX|Chanel, DFM|John Takeuchi, Varrel|Mago, BC|Tachikawa, R!OT|ROF, Somniac, Freeser, Rumours, Watanabe, Yagami and many more.

This is a Master rank event on the Tekken World Tour for Tekken 8 as well as a Gold event on the Arc World Tour for Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, but that’s not all, the top 2 placers in both Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 will qualify for the Esports World Cup which will be taking place in Riyadh later this year with a $1,000,000 prize pool for each of those games on the line.

As such, the biggest events at the tournament are unsurprisingly Tekken 8 which sits at over 250 entrants and Street Fighter 6 which has over 200 participants. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sits at more than 160 players and Guilty Gear Strive also crossed the 100 entrant mark.
