A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SEARCH OF THE PARENTS OR CLOSE RELATIVES OF PATIENCE SUNDAY STEPHEN AND NKOYO ETIM EFFIONG

Basic Rights Counsel with the support of Girls’ Power Initiative and the Nigerian Police (Efut Divisional Headquarters) had on Wednesday the 16th of September 2016 rescued one Patience Sunday Stephen (8years) and Nkoyo Etim Effiong (9years).

The duo were trafficked and severely assaulted by one EKA-Obong in Calabar South LGA, Cross River State.

May be their parents must have forgotten about them as they’re caged under this daredevil for a long time now. But, praise be to God they are now safe and can return to their parents to live a normal life just like any other child out there.

But, there’s a problem as all efforts to trace their parents or relatives both in Odukpani and Akpabuyo Local Government Areas of Cross River State has not been successful.

These girls were tortured, abused, enslaved, denied their child and civil rights to Education, and now smells freedom, Please if you know or have any information about their parents or relative, contact James on- 08028800874, 08090123666; Obia- 08037738967.

Let’s help spread the information so the girls can go back to their parents. See more photos after the cut….
