A report coming in from HITC today reveals that Barcelona are open to a player swap deal for Greenwood and are willing to offer another young attacker in Victor Roque.
The report also goes ahead to shockingly reveal that Manchester United have decided to activate Greenwood’s one year optional extension which ties him to United till 2026 buying The Red Devils more time to make a decision.
Greenwood has been enjoying a fine season on loan at Getafe and has effectively reestablished himself as one of the best young attackers in the world and as such has been gaining interest from lots of clubs.
Victor Roque on the other hand has been very disgruntled at Barcelona on the lack of playing time with his agent Andre Cury absolutely slamming Barcelona for their treatment of his client as centredevils covered.
In the centredevils report, it is covered that Barcelona are willing to loan him out again but Cury is of the opinion they should leave on a permanent transfer.
This new report from HITC reports that Barcelona would be open to offering Roque to acquire Greenwood in a blockbuster swap deal.
“HITC understands Barca would be willing to offer Man United players for Greenwood, including Roque – but the Premier League club would prefer a straight sale, if he was to leave,” reads the report.
Both clubs would benefit from this potential deal with both players being of the same profile virtually and around the same age as well.
