Barcelona and Real Madrid, along with other top European clubs, are closely monitoring Mason Greenwood, the Manchester United player currently on loan. Greenwood, 22, joined Getafe on a season-long loan after Manchester United opted for his career to progress elsewhere.

This move came in the wake of serious allegations against Greenwood, including attempted rape, assault, and coercive control, leading to his suspension by Manchester United in January 2022.

However, in a significant turn of events, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges against Greenwood in February of this year.

Despite Greenwood’s consistent denial of these allegations, Manchester United conducted its own internal review. Following this, the decision was made for the young forward to seek a fresh start away from Old Trafford.

Since his move to Getafe, Greenwood has shown promising form, netting five goals and providing four assists.

His performance has not gone unnoticed, with multiple reports indicating that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on him. Atlético Madrid is also said to be interested.

Additionally, German powerhouses Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are reported to be tracking Greenwood’s progress closely.
