Tekken 8 has been scheduled to release on January 26, 2024, but what does that actually mean? As it turns out, those of us in the west, such as the United States, will actually be able to start playing the game on January 25, 2024.
Bandai Namco has recently unveiled the Release Timing Map for Tekken 8. This map is intended to inform players exactly when they’ll be able to access Tekken 8 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
It’s true that Tekken 8 will essentially be released on January 26 for those living in Japan, for example. Of course, January 26 at 8:00 a.m. in Japan will be January 25 for those of us in the United States due to time zone differences.
On the West Coast, players will be able to dig on at 3:00 p.m. PST. Going a little east from there, those in the middle of the United States can play starting at 5:00 p.m. CT. Finally, the FGC on the East Coast will have access to Tekken 8 at 6:00 p.m. EST.
With Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 already released, this is the last of the three big AAA fighting games that we’ll be getting for a while. Be sure to check out our Tekken 8 review if you’re still on the fence about picking up this game.
