Bandai Namco rolls out new patch to fix massive horrendous visual bugs in Dragon Ball FighterZ

It’s been a rocky road in recent years for Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ as development for the now six year old title has been moving at a rather glacial pace. Rollback netcode was announced at Evo 2022, but the patch to actually implement this highly requested change wouldn’t roll out for some 570 days after the official promise.

When said update did finally come about back in February of this year it was plagued with visual bugs that made attempting to take advantage of the new netcode rather moot. Another patch on Friday aims to finally get the game where it needs to be, and we have the details below.

The 1.36 Dragon Ball FighterZ patch is now available for console users, but the same patch will not roll out for Steam/PC users until around 3 p.m. PST.
