Ayade's 'pyramid of rubbish' resurface again, as vacating Joseph Odok gives way to Daniel Agbor

Calabar, Cross River State capital city is beginning to experience about the second episode of an environmental catastrophe, what I chose to label —Ayade’s Pyramid of Rubbish!
This pyramid refers to pilling heaps of unattended to refuse that the government of Cross River has a knack for not giving attention especially the present state government.

Journalist Daniel Agbor who just resumed his social activism after a brief stint of break has began a campaign of highlighting designated spots of these rubbish heaps in the state capital. Incidentally, Agbor is embarking on this trail when acclaimed social change agent, Joseph Odok, is taking a respite from his criticism of the PDP led state government.

The photos of refuse published here were taken on 2 & 3 of May at Goldie Street by Etim Eden Park and Mbukpa Market by Adak Uko.
I am calling on relevant government agencies to level Ayade’s pyramid because the rainy season just began. The health implications of these heaps of rubbish will be unprecedented if not checked now.
A stich in time saves nine.
