Is Cross River Watch an apparatus of Cross River State government set up to reveal classified information of the government to rivals of the governor, Prof. Benedict Ayade? Cross River Watch gets the information that the Media Unit of the governor is yet to get. Why and how?
For instance, a caucus meeting of the almighty PDP was held earlier this week. Sadly, while the Ayade Media Unit is yet to be briefed on such an epoch making event, this “unusual media platform” has dispensed the information to their APC folks and other rivals of Ayade and virtually all his dignifying projects including the ailing Superhighway project.
A caucus meeting should be one, especially a preliminary meeting, of persons belonging to a party, to nominate candidates for public office, or to select delegates to a nominating convention, or to confer regarding measures of party policy; a political primary meeting. Do we need to share the content of this meeting for public consumption? If Ayade must succeed, he must separate his fiends from his friends.
Cross River Watch is the pipeline that fuels windbags against Prof. Ayade Benedict. It is disturbing that the governor is yet to discover his adversaries. Cross River Watch must go down so that the Superhighway can stand. This is a message to Gov. Ayade Benedict.
