Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade has described multiple award-winning Journalist and senior correspondent of the Africa Independent Television, (AIT) in the State, Alhaji Rasheed Olanrewaju Zubair as a “Super Star” whose future is bright in the field of journalism.

In a message to Olanrewaju on the occasion of his birthday celebration, Ayade rejoiced with Olanrewaju, describing him as a multi-talented journalist, whose impact traverses the social-political landscape of not only Cross River State but Nigeria as a whole.
“As a son of Cross River even though born in Kwara, the future awaits you for your dedication and commitment to the ideals of true and developmental Journalism,” he added.
On his part the Kwara State Deputy Governor, Chief Kayode Alabi wished the celebrant whom he described as “my brother, friend and fellow Kwara,” the best in life.
He offered prayers for the celebrant, saying “In the years ahead, may your days be filled with happiness, good health and more capacity to serve God and humanity in general.”

In the same vein, a former President of the Nigerian Senate, Sen. Bukola Saraki congratulated Rasheed on his birthday.
In a congratulatory message by his media office in Ilorin, the two-term former Governor of Kwara State lauded Olanrewaju for being a journalist per excellent and for using his profession to correct the ills of the society.

“On behalf of my family, I wish to congratulate you specially on your birthday and wish you many happy returns,” Saraki added.
