The carelessness and compliance of the Cross River State House of Assembly in some acts of illegalities and failure to follow due process seems to be giving Governor Ben Ayade a bad name in the presidency.
The silence of the state government in providing information on its activities and some skirmish response from unskilled and poorly informed Ayade's media team seems not to be helping matters. The Ayade's media team and Cross River State House of Assembly's deposition seems not to be enough to shield Ayade from public perception as a government of fraud. Christian Ita, the unskilled Chief Press Secretary to the government of Cross River State, deposition seems to complicate matters as his attempt to play the devil's role in covering Ayade's secret deals seems to be a Waterloo than a help to the governor. The ill approach of Christian Ita, Emmanuel Ulayi and Eval Asikong has incapacitated Dorncklaimz Enamhe's efforts to brand the battered image of the governor. Foundation once destroyed what can Dorncklaimz Enamhe do?
Some questions that are raised before the presidency include but not limited to the following:
1. The Ownership of the Garment Factory. While Christian Ita has fraudulently tried to push the lie that the garment factory is owned by the Cross River State government, revelation from the Corporate Affairs Commission shows that the Garment Factory is Ayade's personal company funded by the government of Cross River State. A garment factory that is not captured in Cross River State Appropriation Law cannot be a property of Cross River State, fraud smells here. Activist Paul Ifere have petitioned the EFCC on this, only time shall reveal the truth.
2. Another Issue is the Budget of Deep Vision. Authoritative source holds that Cross River State with a budget of 350 billions has no visible budget in any public site in social media or internet. Ayade is also investigated on this by some concerned citizens.
3. The Super High Way and the Breach of Environmental Laws by Ayade's Government occasioned the suspension of the project by the federal government. Many issues are left unsettled because Ayade's government revoked people's lands through the Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, Dr John Inyang in violation of the Land Use Act. Legal actions have been taken against Ayade on this
4. The Rice City raises another Set of Question. The southern senatorial district has never cultivated rice in the history of Cross River State and the citing of the rice city in Jonathan's bypass raises great suspicion.
5. Also there are Issues on Ayade's Source of Funding his Signature Projects. Ayade first promised a debt bye off, then came the 500 million Euros and then 500 million dollars after Morgan Stanley withdrew its funding for African projects. Till date we are only hearing of promise as Ayade is said to have borrowed more than 50 billion for payment of salary and to settle other issues
6. The issue of Frank Ayade as a co Governor of Cross River State begs another questions. Frank Ayade is said to have a convoy attached to him and much monies and major projects purportedly belonging to the Cross River State government are executed by a private person in the nomenclature of Frank Ayade.
7. The Issue of a dirty Calabar also mar the Image of Ayade before the Presidency. A calabar that was once the cleanest state in Nigeria has soon turned a refuge dump
8. The illegal Sack of 250 Poor Women because they protested non payment of salaries of 5,000.00 naira for eleven months is likely going to irate some national figures against the callous steps of Mr. Ben Ayade.
9. The Depletion of Local Government account to the extent that the state can no longer meet its obligation of paying its local government staff their salary nor fund projects is also before the presidency. The errors are grave can Ayade save his head. What do we say of the character of Cross River State House of Assembly
Only time will tell the fate of Mr. Ben Ayade.
