Although a dedicated Avatar: The Last Airbender fighting game is currently in the works, fans can already battle with their favorite benders in a different fighter with their other cartoon compatriots.
GameMill Entertainment dropped their official Prince Zuko spotlight gameplay reveal and breakdown for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 along with giving him a release date for later this week.
As can be expected, Zuko’s main attacks rely on martial arts strikes with some fire bending to give him some extra oomph though his down special pulls out the prince’s dual blades for more range and speed on certain normals — and they can be thrown as projectiles too.
Neutral special shoots a ring of fire that can travel at different speeds while his up special uses fire to rocket him upwards as a recovery tool, but the developers state its one of the weaknesses of his kit unless you use slime enhancements.
The gameplay shown also reveals at least four or five different costumes that’ll be available for Zuko that fans should recognize from all throughout the different books in The Last Airbender.
They confirmed Zuko will be launching for Nick Brawl 2 on April 24 joining SpongeBob’s Mr. Krabs and two more fighters.
Zuko can be picked up as part of the Season Pass for $25 or $7 by himself.
