AUTplayed is back for 2025 and it’s bigger than ever. As usual, it’ll be happening in Vienna, Austria.
Notable players attending the event include Oplon|Skyll, Socky, Releasebogus, Neffros, Fumo|GideonTG, Pida, LS99|Heyheylo, Arhkma MuddyKipz, PHL|Jaykom, LinkNova, Semy28, K4LL3PRO, Silic0n, Dudeakoff, VDV|KingRasta, WSL|Watori, VDV|BlackedLotus, mAceOfHearts, .exe, Frogmaster|Yosh, VDV|Mave and many more.
Almost 350 people have gathered in Vienna to participate in AUTplayed this year, so there’s a big showing for many of the games present.
Leading the charge is Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising which netted almost 100 competitors followed by BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] and Street Fighter 6 all surpassing 60 entrants each. Guilty Gear Strive hit exactly 50 signups while Melty Blood Type Lumina, Tekken 8 and Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code all exceeded the 40 mark. Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 fell just short of said mark.
There will also be tournament play for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R, E’s Laf++, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Streaming is being done at AUTplayed VDV, Virtual Dojo Vienna and Zero Fundies.
